Take a walk

If you don’t have much time after work, taking your dog for a walk is a great solution! Even if it’s something you already do every day, try taking a different route this time, and your dog will think it’s a whole new adventure! 🐕 While you’re on the walk, make sure that you let them sniff anything their little hearts desire! This will also help mentally stimulatethem and ensure you both have a great walk!

Spa time

If you come home early, a dog spa session is a good idea for a date night. Pamper your doggy with soothing products and your gentle hands 👋 or take a spa course at your local pet grooming service! This way, your doggy will be relaxed, clean, and smell so good, you can’t resist cuddling them!

Dinner together

Having dinner with your dog is a must when it comes to date night. You can cook up a special menu for you and your pup or you can just order something yummy. Setting up a table is optional, but don’t give any human food to your paw date. 🍝🍗 Try out these after-dinner snacks and treats – a cherry on top of this special occasion!

Movie night

Classic date nights require movies! 🎥🍿 Grab yourself popcorn, some snacks, and a cozy blanket, and get comfy! Pick out your favorite film or series you love to enjoy together. 🚫 Avoid movies that have sudden loud noises, jump scares, and any sounds that can startle your little one. Anything with fireworks, gunshots, and thunderstorms, is a no-go. Let’s keep the mood light and happy for this special night!

Cozy snuggling

If you’re too tired to do anything after a long day, cozy snuggles with your little friend are enough. Have your fur baby in your arms like a warm furry pillow and fall asleep together. A quiet night in is as meaningful as any other activity, we’re sure your pet appreciates the uninterrupted quality time you share together! 🤗 Just try not to squeeze too hard and allow your dog to leave if they want to. ❤️

Extra activities after a long day at work might feel overwhelming at times. But every day with you is already a first date for your doggy! It’s alright to take a rain check, tell your dog you love them in their language, and complete activities on any day that you are available. Maybe sneak in a few treats (at the appropriate amount) as a reward for them being such a good sidekick!

Let’s make the most of the Doggy Date Night and any other night you have with your companion!
