• Take your pet to exercise daily so they get to release their energy! This way, they won’t feel as stressed, and that means the little hurricane won’t take you by surprise the next time you come home. 
• Train your pet! Pawrents are usually under the impression that their pets are too old for tricks, but simple commands like “no!” or “stop” can be taught at any age. They might not be winning pet shows, but it’s a great way to bond and mentally stimulate your furry friend. 
• Sterilize your pet to avoid the growing issue of overpopulation, and also reduce the risks of any health complications or any reckless behavior.
• Regular health checkups to keep your pet in tip-top shape! Checking up with the vet once or twice a year is super important for any prevention or early monitoring if they fall ill. If your companion is older or has any pre-existing health complications, visiting the vet 3 to 4 times a year would be purrfect. 
• Make sure your pet has insurance because accidents can’t be predicted. Our furry friend’s health is also as important as ours! Veterinarian bills can easily empty our wallets if something serious happens. Having insurance for your pet will definitely help you sleep soundly without having to worry.
